• The Permanent Committee for Beautification of the Easten Region and Exhibition of its Cultural Heritage

     The General Manager of the Eastern Chamber, Adnan ibn Abdullah Al-Naeem, and the Assistant Manager of Construction and Project Design for the Secretariat of the Eastern Region, Engr. Jamaal Al-Mulham, investigated the formation of a permanent committee for the beautification of the cities in the Easten Region and for the exhibition of its cultural and social heritage. The committee members will be comprised of: the Superintendent of the eastern Region, the City Council, along with members representing the Chamber as well as tradesmen and manufacturers and other interested parties.This was finally agreed upon by both parties during the meeting with the approval of the President of the Chamber.
    Present during the meeting was Faisal Ath-Thaani, the General Manager of Investment for the Eastern Region, and Abdur-Rahman Al-Humayn, the Assistant Secretary General for Committee Affairs, and Sami Abu Sareeh, the Assistant Secreatary General of the Chamber in charge of Public Relations and Information.
    The importance of the role of the Chamber, as well as tradesmen and manufacturers during the planning and initiation of the program for the beautification of the region was affirmed. The Secretary General of the Chamber, Adnan ibn Abdullah Al-Naeem made it clear that all parties agreed that further steps for strategic planning would be taken in future meetings to include the goals, initiatives, and scope of the committee's activity.
    During the meeting, His Excellency the Secrerary of the Eastern Region the honorable Dayfullah Al-Utaybee Engr., and the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Chamber, Abd-ur-Rahman ibn Raashid Al-Raashid brought forth a number of issues, the most important of which was the need for the formation of this committee for which they came together in order to investigate its specifics.
    After that, the meeting turned to an exchang e of ideas about many common issues of importance. Presented were various ways that the two parties could cooperate within the framework of the established organizational system between the Chamber, the Secretariat, and the City Council in order to serve the interests of the Eastern Region.
    At the end of the meeting there was a consultation between the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Chamber and His Excellency the Secretary of the Eastern Region. During this consultation he stressed the importance of forming a cooperative committee between the Chamber and the City Council.
